Warid ready to launch 4G LTE Soon 2014

Yesterday after watching the news of PTA i wondered where is warid? It didn't show any where in the auction. Now the suspense is revealing the true story why warid was absent. Warid takes one step ahead of 3G & 4G technology. It is bringing something more advance, more innovative. Warid Telecom to launch its LTE network very soon. The plan is so surprising and fresh that even the telecom authority hasn’t been informed yet.

  • PTA has told Warid to hold-off their announcement for LTE since it would steal the limelight from their Next Generation Mobile Services (NGMS) auction.
(Sources Report) Warid Telecom could be getting a step closer to officially offer LTE services in Pakistan, after the Pakistani government finally issued 3G and 4G licenses to operate LTE TDD networks in the country.
An unnamed source at the regulator told that the mobile network is in talks with all the leading Smartphone brands in Pakistan for LTE-supported handsets – Samsung, HTC, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, LG, Google Nexus, Q-Mobile, Huawei, etc., even Apple’s authorized resellers in Pakistan.

Warid aims to launch the service with LTE base stations in Pakistan and around more towers in other cities.
Warid Telecom now expects to launch its LTE network very soon having secured the necessary regulatory approvals and LTE testing. According to sources they have also placed orders for U-SIMS to existing vendors.

Warid Telecom will be using it neutral 1800 Mhz spectrum it was allocated when it came to Pakistan. They have revealed their intention to launch an LTE service few days back, when Muneer Faqrooqi, CEO met PTA Chairman.
An unofficial source at Warid said they are ready to invest more in Pakistan to stretch its network across the country, and launch LTE services.
The company had already said that it would bring forward the launch of the LTE network ahead of the planned radio spectrum.
